last year brian and i had the pleasure of shooting scott & sarah’s wedding and a now year later, i got to meet up with them to capture some updated family photos! by the way, i am a big fan and advocate of getting your photos taken at least once year! (we do it…though, both brian and i prefer to be behind the camera – i love that we capture a snipet of our lives, each year). scott & sarah, you are genuinely one of the sweetest and most adorable couples that i have ever had the opportunity to work with! i love how your characters shine through in your photos! enjoy!

indianapolis wedding photography: ryan & megan

early this spring brian and i spent an afternoon with ryan & megan for their engagement session, ever since then, we were looking forward to their wedding. they are a super fun couple and have fantastic family & friends. their wedding was on a beautiful fall day (well, minus the large gusts of winds). the ceremony & reception were both at the bridgewater club and it was gorgeous. once again, i had a hard time narrowing down favorites, so this post is super long! ryan & megan, we had a great time working with you, enjoy your sneak peek!

reece and katie were married on a gorgeous fall day! they had an amazingly beautiful outdoor sunday wedding at cox hall gardens with recpetion following right there on site. we had a fantastic time with their wedding party and family. random fact, reece grew up on the same street that i did, though we never met until their wedding…small world. reece & katie, we are so excited for you guys! enjoy your sneak peak! planning a wedding is a lot of work, and michael & laura planned their entire wedding from seattle. they pulled off a fabulous day, had wonderful fall weather day and it was full of a lot of family and friends. michael and laura, we had a fantastic time with you and your wedding party!

their ceremony was at the beautiful st. john’s catholic church in downtown indianapolis and then we spent sometime taking photos at butler university, where it all began for them. here is a sneak peek from their wedding, enjoy!

nick & kaitlin were married on the best weekend of the summer! (well i am sort of partial to that weekend since it was the weekend of brian and i’s 5 year anniversary). But, it did turn out to be an absolutely gorgeous june day! the church that they were married at had a lot of character as did all of the members of the wedding party. nick & kaitlin opted to have a smaller ceremony and then a reception dinner with close family & friends. we loved the personal side and intimate design of this type of wedding and of course we get to see you all again sunday at the big reception! here are a few favorites from the day!

Introducing Parker Tomás Stump

So today is my official due date…and are little guy is already 3 weeks old. yes, i am just getting to this blog post…oh, well i am a little behind on stuff. Parker Tomás Stump was born on December 28, 2010 at 7:49 and was 19 inches and 6 lb 4 oz. the last month or so had been a blur in the stump household as we went from the busyness of the holidays right into welcoming our new son. Brady has done fairly well with the transition…though we have definitely had more acting up than we have ever seen from him, but he seems to care and love his new little brother despite the decrease in attention. Here are a few quick pics that we shot of our little guy when he was 6 days old. we had parker’s newborn & some family photos taken last week…so i will share the link as soon as they are up!!!

san diego wedding photography – scott & meri

two weekends ago, brian and i got to spend another weekend with the mclaughlin family. earlier this year we shot paul & wendy’s wedding and this time we got to capture scott & meri’s wedding! scott & meri met in college in san diego and decided it was fitting to travel back there for their wedding. the wedding and reception took place at the hotel del coronado on coronado island. it is a beautiful venue, the day was perfect and meri was a stunning bride! even though i am a midwestern girl at heart, there are somethings about california that i love…weather and lighting…are a photographers dream! mclaughlin family it was great to work with you guys again! scott & meri congratulations…enjoy your sneak peek!

aric is the brother of our neighbors and friends, adam & cameron, so we have gotten to know them and their families over the last few years and were super excited for their wedding day. aric and autumn had a wonderful wedding and reception at union station! It was a colt’s sunday, so outdoor pictures were interesting as there was a constant stream of blue walking by! autumn, you looked stunning…i loved your dress. i hope you guys are having a fabulous time in spain! here are a few favorites.
