indianapolis wedding photography – scott & sarah

the first time, brian and i met scott and sarah, we couldn’t wait to work with them. we have some interesting parallels in life…scott is an artist, sarah is in biology…umm, that is me in a nutshell…ex-biology major turned artist…who still loves science…anyway, we had a blast with them last year at their engagement session and knew that the wedding would be the same! scott’s best man took his role as “best man” very seriously and made himself a best man sheriff star (the craftsmanship on it was awesome). another thing we loved about the day, was the music. sarah’s dad played for the wedding…including one of our favs, “falling slowly” and on top of that, sarah and her dad’s “first dance”, was actually the two of them playing and singing together…it was awesome! i know they have been patiently waiting for their blog post, so i’ll keep my babbling short! enjoy your sneak peek!!!

doug & kristin were married a little over a week ago on a HOT july day. we were looking forward to their day…it seemed like such a long time ago that we had taken their engagement pictures and were excited to work with them again. they had a beautiful wedding and had a fantastic wedding party! so i had a hard time narrowing down images…so your post is little long! enjoy your sneak peek!

the other weekend we got to spend the day with craig & laura! they are a super fun couple and i have to say, had one of the funniest, most personable wedding parties that we ever worked with! despite the killer heat & humidity, they were all game for some fun outdoor pics. laura, you are the first bride for us that has ever worn an afgan before getting in their wedding dress ;-) that was definitely a first. we had a lot of fun sharing in your day and here is your sneak peek!!!

paul & wendy’s day finally came! it felt like so long ago that we shot their engagement session. wendy, did a fabulous job planning their wedding in indianapolis, while living in Washington D.C. everything about the day was beautiful (well minus a few torrential down pours, but that seems to be the current trend of june in indiana) for us, one of the most memorable moments was wendy’s moms speech at the reception…she organized the entire speech to music…it was awesome! paul, wendy & families you were great to work with! see ya again in october! enjoy your sneek peek!

indianapolis wedding photography – steve & joanne

steve & joanne got married on a chilly day in may!…(which i would love to have that weather back…since our last wedding was 90 degrees and about 100% humidity)..anyway, it was a beautiful ceremony and reception, full of family and dear friends…and you guys were such a pleasure to work with! also, joanne has seriously a whole clan of talented nieces and nephews…they made up a string quartet & a string triplet for the ceremony…which was awesome.

all i have to say is thank you, steve and joanne for being so patient on your blog post ;-)…i know it was killing ya, since you didn’t get to watch your slideshow at the reception… so here is your sneak peek!

david & becky: 10.24.09 – indianapolis wedding photography

we love fall weddings! david & becky had a perfect day… every detail fell into place, including the beautiful leaves, a wonderful ceremony and a fantastic & fun bridal party. becky, was brave…her heels were amazing…and high! for their pictures, we headed to butler university….(we love shooting at places with meaning), and were able to revisit the exact location where david prosposed. david & becky, thank you for letting us share in your day! hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

jeffrey & debra were married downtown a few weeks ago (the same weekend that there was a zillion FFA kids downtown)! we shot their wedding portraits at the canterbury hotel. debra was so cute…she was so excited about marrying jeffrey…and couldn’t wait for their special day. congrats! here are a few favorites!

i have been sooooo excited about this shoot! not that i don’t love all our clients, but this one is really special to brian and i. kim and ryan are close friends of ours (i would consider them our second family). we vacation together every year, kim watches brady and we spend a lot of our free time with them…basically, we live life with them. they are expecting a little boy here soon (his due date is actually brady’s first birthday) and love that our little boys are going to get to grow up together. kim has had a fabulous pregnancy and has just been glowing the entire time (which you can totally see in the pictures)! they have had an interesting journey getting to this point, (you can read about their story here). and soon after baby boy foust arrives, they will continue on in their adoption journey. kim, you are beautiful… enjoy!

matt & laura are married! i loved everything about this day. matt & laura were such a genuine couple, that it made capturing their day so delightful. they also had so many fun and specialized details to fit them. one of my favorites being the “jones” sodas…i saw them…thought that is cute, that’s their last name, but then I actually looked at them! they were specialized with custom labels with pictures of them on each one! laura doesn’t really like being in front of the camera…all i have to say is that…you can’t tell one bit…laura, you are beautiful! another thing that brian and i were both really impressed with was matt & laura’s bridal party & group of friends…they were a lot of fun to work. enjoy your sneak peek!
