Legacy

I have always loved hands and feet. I believe that everyone’s are unique and every set tells a story. Back in college, during my film days, we did a series of self portraits and all of mine were of my hands and feet. To parallel those images, I captured a series of my Grandma Cantu’s hands as she made tortillas. That was 8 years ago, but those images will remain forever timeless to me.

This past weekend, was one of those moments again. We headed up North for an extended weekend to see family (It was our last weekend before we dive into our wedding season)! Brady got to visit with both of his great grandma’s and I was able to capture some of their time together.
