on one of the only random winter mornings that indy actually got blasted with snow this year…i got the joy of photographing this little guy, baby eli. on january 13th, the newton family welcomed their third little boy into the world. he is tiny! and has two big brothers who are already in love with him. i love the photos of eli with his proud big brothers…they just make me smile! here are a few favorites from eli’s newborn session! and thanks morgan (of twysted yarn & newbie noggins) for making me a last minute premie hat!

dave and sarah, good friends of ours, welcomed their little boy, Jackson Ezekiel (Zeke) into the world on Thanksgiving day. He was a little stubborn about making his appearance, but finally decided it was time to come out. There were lots of cute props at his shoot, as his mama is super talented and made all his little hats & the cute turtle shell. dave & sarah we are so excited for you guys, and your little man is so precious & perfect! enjoy your sneak peek!

another sweet baby has been born. welcome to the world little ruthie! (and when i say “little” i mean that literally) ruth annabella, was born at 35 weeks at 5lbs 3 oz (which is pretty good for 5 weeks early). she spent the first week of life in the nicu, but is home, with her big brother and family and doing great. big brother jackson is still not quite sure what to think of his little sister (as you can see in the pictures), but he will get there! adam & renee, congrats on baby #2, we are so excited for you guys! here are a few pics from ruthie’s newborn session.

In the past 4 weeks, 3 of our past wedding couples have had babies! I love it! Nick & Kim our friends, clients and one of Brian’s old roommates, welcomed their son hudson into the world on august 19th. He is adorable, sweet and already so loved by his parents, friends and family.

I love our wedding clients….and I love when they have babies! that is one of the joys of being a photographer. We get the opportunity to document special moments in people’s lives and see how they grow and change over the years. So, I’ll stop rambling and introduce sweet baby Emmerie. She was actually very awake and alert for her photo session, even though she was only a week old. Rich and Nikki, we are so excited for you…you will be awesome parents! so you have seen this family on our blog a few times! this was our third chance to work with them, as they have expanded their family again. I got to meet baby parker, when he was 5 weeks old. he is still tiny, a little over 6 pounds, but this is because he did decide to surprise his parents a little over 6 weeks early and make an early entrance into the world. after 2 weeks in NICU, he got to come home and is perfect. his big brother, hayden, was proud of his little baby brother (which is always adorable). here are a few favorites from parker’s newborn/family session. enjoy!

a year ago yesterday, brian and i stood in a hospital room with our friends chris and laura and photographed the birth of their son, phoenix lee gerber, a still baby angel at 24 weeks….today, just over a year later, i get to post a much more joyous post! one that introduces their little baby girl to the world…welcome baby eden! we are so excited for you guys as you travel the journey as parents…eden is precious and perfect in every way…enjoy your sneak peek!
