There were a few things that I loved about Tom & Betsy’s wedding, but overall the idea of tradition was really strong. They both live in Chicago, but Betsy is from Noblesville and they tried hard to keep most of the wedding details in Noblesville….which was really cool. The florist, the cake, the tent rental, and the catering (Lutz’s grilled steaks on site!) all from Noblesville, and of course we love to shoot where we live. They were also married in the same church that her parents were married in and it was beautiful. Another fun detail was that when they left the church, they led all the guests from the wedding on walk through downtown to the reception, accompanied by a bag piper. Betsy, cheers to you and your wonderful organization and planning….you would have thought that you had a whole team of wedding planners, by how smooth the day went.
