As many of you know, 06.07.08 was an interesting day for Indiana, with more flooding than even the 1913 flood. When we left Noblesville at 6:15 a.m. to head to Martinsville for Zach & Kristen’s wedding, we had no idea what we were in for. By 7:15 we were trapped on a 1-mile stretch if Highway 37 with flood water’s impassable on all 4 sides. At the same time, the road to the church, where the ceremony was planned also flooded. So with a few hour delay, a new location and a lot of last minute calls, the wedding still happened and it actually turned out to be a beautiful day.

I do have to make one side note. I was blown away by Zach & Kristen’s composure and grace, as so many things went wrong on their wedding day because of the severe flooding. They kept smiling through it all!
